James Edward Riley Jr., age 52, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his residence. He was born on June 4, 1972 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to parents, James Edward Riley Sr. and Dona (Severance) Shockley.
James was a man of many talents. He could build and fix anything with his hands, and was an amazing carpenter. He loved to take care of things himself. He was the President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Franklin Aerie #2309, as well as the #2 Road Captain of the Franklin Eagle Riders. He loved music and was an excellent guitar player, as well as being a DJ.
He was preceded in death by grandmothers, Jean Riley, and Charlotte Severance; and uncle, Kenny Riley.
James is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Justin Teague) Riley; son, Kyle Riley; grandchildren, Kizer, Kyrie, and River; mother, Dona (Larry) Shockley; father, James Edward Riley Sr.; sister, Jessica Riley; brother, Nicholas Henry; as well as many extended family and friends.
A celebration of life for James is scheduled for a later date.
