James R Hembree

James R. Hembree, age 78, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Kettering Hospital Miamisburg. James was born on April 16, 1945 to the late Walter and Rosie Mae (Coffey) Hembree.

James served in the US Army from 1965 to 1968, was employed with St. Regis Paper Mill for ten years and retired from Faurecia after thirteen years of service. He was loving husband, father, daddy, papaw, who was very proud of his grandchildren. He was a loving, faithful, giving and everyone loved him.

James was preceded in death by his sisters, Leota Hicks, Doris June Cox, Matilda Lois kamer; his brothers, Joe Thomas "J.T." Hembree, Glendle Ateall Hembree and Kenny Wayne Hembree. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Hembree; his children, Beth Hembree Trent, Jennifer Michelle Hembree (Amy); his grandchildren, Aaron Wesley (Brittany) Trent, Micah Trent Belt (J.J), Timothy James Hembree, Emma Lynn Hembree, Brandon Eugene Hembree; his great grandchildren, Triston Alexzander Belt, Mason Grey Belt, Annabelle Rene Walker, Jaxten Eugene Johnson, Peyton Lillyaunna Johnson; his sister, Mary Davidson; and his special care giver, Mark Vaughn.

Funeral Services are 12pm Saturday December 30, 2023 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St. Franklin, OH with Pastor Jerry Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Saturday from 10am to 12pm at the funeral home.
