George Causey

George Edward Causey, age 77, of Middletown, died Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Garden Manor Extended Care Center. He was born June 11, 1933 in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of George Lacey Causey and Goldie Dees Causey. George was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Armco Steel Tubing Department in Piqua and Middletown.

He is survived by two daughters, Victoria husband, Victor Kroger of Middletown, Valerie husband, Robert Swartz, Jr. of Piqua, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jedidiah wife, Lauren York, Robert Swartz, III, Vallene Swartz, and Vanessa husband, Michael Marshall; one great granddaughter, Veronica Swartz; and one sister, Pauline Causey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia G. Causey on March 30, 2010; one son, George Edward Causey, Jr.; his parents; and two brothers, J. R. Causey and an infant brother Causey.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Hickory Flat Cemetery with military honors by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
