Gary Franklin Conn

Gary Franklin Conn "Shag", 62, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 24, 1959 to parents Louis and Virginia Conn (Robinson).

Gary worked as a custodian for the Springboro School System, retiring in March of 2021 after 20 years of employment. He had a passion for sports, especially watching UD basketball. Mr. Conn was an avid music lover, listening to bluegrass and Old Rock n Roll music, he had acquired over 2000 CD’s. While keeping up with current events, Gary collected baseball cards, antiques, and Nascar memorabilia. In his down time Gary loved to sit in the sun, especially at Myrtle Beach.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Louis Conn in 1990.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Conn; brothers, Louis (Becky) Conn, and Greg (Judy) Conn; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Craig) Morgan, Katie Conn (Jamison Jennings), Jessica Conn (Justin Peyton), Matthew Conn (Jennifer Stimpfel); great nieces and nephews, Annabella Jennings, Jamison Jennings Jr., Jacob Brech, Billy Morgan, Alexander Peyton, and Isaac Peyton.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
