Douglas Arrington, age 75, of Waynesville, OH, went home to be with the Lord Sunday May 27, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and family at his side. He was born in Galipolis, Ohio on November 8, 1942 to Edmond and Erma (Rawlins) Arrington. Douglas served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was employed with General Motors Harrison Radiator for 31 years and retired in 1999. He loved to ride his Harley, working on things in his garage, and teaching his sons and grandson skills. Doug had a huge heart and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Edmond Arrington, mother, Erma Arrington. Douglas is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Duncan Arrington two sons, Douglas Shane Arrington, James David (Kimberley) Arrington; grandchildren, Cole James and Lauren Ashley of Waynesville, OH. Funeral services are 11:00 am Friday June 1, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Homes 40 North Main Street Springboro, OH with Pastor David Harney officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
