Daniel Raymond Back

Daniel Raymond Back, age 62, of Dayton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at his residence. He was born November 29, 1960, in Middletown, Ohio the son of the late Raymond Back and Geneva (Creech) Back, who survives.

In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Back and husband, Matt Alspaugh; his granddaughter, Laurali Alspaugh; his three brothers, David (Desirae) Back, Steve Back, Michael (Karin) Back. Daniel is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Daniel was a graduate of Franklin High School in 1979 and was employed by Premier Health Care. He was a graduate of the Police Academy and served the Village of Carlisle and City of Franklin for 20 years. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Anderson Life Celebration Center, 360 Commerce Center Drive, Franklin, Ohio, 45005 from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023.
