Cicero Feltner, 84, was born in Goose Rock, Kentucky, on December 10, 1933, to his parents, Robert and Cleo (Howard) Feltner, and departed this life on October 4, 2018. His family moved to the Franklin- Carlisle area in 1947. Cicero was a graduate of Carlisle High School and attended Wilmington University. He served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956 and was employed by DP & L and NCR for many years. He served as Deputy Warren County Treasurer for 18 years and as a Warren County Treasurer for 4 years, retiring in 1999. Mr. Feltner was a member of the Warren County Republican Club, Century Club, the American Legion Post 149 and served as chairperson of the Boys State selection committee for 25 years, the Lebanon Eagles, the Ohio Retired Treasurers Association and the Franklin Golf Club. He was an avid Franklin Wildcat and Buckeye fan.
His parents, brother, Robert, and sister, Irene Walker, preceded Cicero in death. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jo Ann(Wright), his sons and daughters-in-law, Drs. Michael and Michele Feltner, and Mark and Kim Feltner. He leaves to cherish his memory, four grandchildren, Catherine Olivia and Elizabeth Anne, and Madeline and Maxwell, also many dear relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. Street in Franklin, Ohio, on Wednesday October 10, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday October 11, at 10:00. Burial will follow at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin with Military Honors.
