January 8 1961 -July 10 2024
Brian Dalton passed away in Knoxville Tennessee on July 10th 2024.
Brian was preceeded in death by his Mother Frieda Dalton and, is survived by his wife Phyllis Dalton, Son Anthony (Aimee) Dalton, Father Roy Dalton, Brothers Curt (Eve) Dalton, Kevin Dalton, and Nieces, Nephews and Great Nephews.
Brian was born to Roy and Frieda Dalton in 1961, in Middletown Ohio. He graduated from Carlisle High School in 1979. After Graduation Brian began his career with Hamilton Fixture in Hamilton Ohio until he moved on and obtained his CDL's, driving for RCS and eventually with Hamblin County, Tennessee.
Brian welcomed his only son Anthony in 1984 and was a proud, attentive and dedicated father. He enjoyed his role as a father and continued to participate in Anthony's activities and achievements even though he lived 5 hours away. Family and friends are quoted saying "Brian was a wonderful father". Over the years he would pass on many of lifes lessons with Anthony through fishing, and working on vehicles together. Later in life Brian would become the first person Anthony called when in need of advice to a stubborn mechanical issue where patience, attention to detail, perseverance and ingenuity were the lessons learned along with a little elbow grease.
Brian enjoyed a few hobbies with fishing being at the top of the list and rehabilitating vehicles as a close second. He also had a love for music and in recent years started playing the guitar. His passion for fishing, working on cars and playing the guitar, were more than hobbies; they were a reflection of his patient and meticulous nature. The way he tinkered with engines and baited his hooks mirrored the care and precision he brought to every aspect of his life.
He was a man of many talents with a generous soul. He helped friends and family with just about anything he could. He was a man who didn't say no to people in need, and that didn't go unnoticed as his friends and family were dedicated and loyal. He was a plumber, carpenter, drywaller, painter, landscaper, gardener, mechanic, an all around handyman for his friends and family. He was always up for the challenge and enjoyed learning new things.
Brian Scott Dalton will be leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Devoted to his family, he poured his heart into every moment spent with loved ones.
Whether he was out fishing, turning wrenches on cars, or simply sharing a smile, his joy for life was infectious.
Above all, his love for his family shone brightest. Every smile he shared, every lesson he imparted, and every moment he spent with those he cherished left an indelible mark on their hearts.
Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit lives on in the memories and love he shared with all who knew him. Rest in peace, knowing that your legacy of love and care will continue to guide and inspire those who were lucky enough to have known you.
