I was in the Air Force with Brad.  He and I shared an office.  He was so full of life and played practical jokes on me all the time.  I had family pictures under plexiglass on my desk and one day I came in and made it halfway through the day before I realized he had copied and cut little circles of his face and put them on random faces all over my family pics.  The babies with Brad’s big grin were the funniest!  I have such great memories of him and he made us all laugh everyday!  I just learned of his passing (Feb2024) because I searched his name thinking he must have become an entertainer of some kind.  This is the most un-funny news I’ve had in a long while.  My prayers and sympathy are with his family.  I can say he was loved by everyone who knew him, and it was impossible not to notice him!  I hope his joyful spirit is alive and well in his children.  I look forward to seeing him in heaven. RIP Brad.

To the White Family:

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the Life.  He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” (John 11:25)  With this passage of scripture in mind, we the Interim Pastor, Official Board and members wish to express our profound sorrow to your family on the transitioning of Mr. Bradley White from earth to glory.

Bradley knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age.   He also was a beacon of light in his community, and was well loved by his family and friends. 
 
Family take comfort knowing that God in His sovereignty has chosen to call Bradley home. The book of Revelation declares, “That we shall sit at the feet of God in the Throne Room of heaven along with the twenty-four elders clothed in white worshipping God.” 

 May “the oil of joy” that strengthens your grieving heart, and the knowledge that you will see him again someday; bring you comfort. (Isaiah 61:1-4)

My big brother Brad I can’t put the words together, but this I do know you are resting with the Lord. I have so many stories to tell about you while TDY here in San Antonio TX 2008-2009. You are truly a gift from God to our family. I will share this my children and I went to Target with you and you just decided to go up to perfect strangers to tell them that I was mad because I wanted to be a man LOL;  my face was priceless my kids laughed very loudly as did everyone else (I’m still laughing just thinking about it). Brad you definitely will be missed RIH until we see each other again. Now you and my Dad can sit and talk about sports Cowboy’s vs Steelers I’m sure Dallas Cowboys won lol.. I will be praying for The Entire White Family the Bible tells me In Matthew “Blessed are those who Mourn they Shall be Comforted”.

Minister White, I still cannot believe that you are gone. We have prayed for your  healing, but God has another plan. Words fall short of expressing our sorrow for the loss that your wife, your children, and family are experiencing now. We cannot imagine what they are going through right now.

I remember the prayers you said in the past and some parts of the sermons you delivered.  Amaris was right when she mentioned you cited some living and non-living things in your prayers.  I always thought it was beautiful.

Elder and me were watching the NFL pre-season game and the Steelers were playing and you came to mind Minister White. We know that you were an avid Steelers fan.  I am too!

We will see you again. Now, you can sit down and chat with Paul, David, Joseph, Jacob and the list goes on.  I want to do that when God calls me home.  I’m jealous that you now have that option.

To your family,  we have been praying  that your hearts and souls will find peace and comfort during this difficult time.  My family’s hearts are with all of you.  When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.  Lean on God for strength during this very trying time in your lives. God bless each one of you.

Minister  White  was  ALWAYS  smiling. He’d be sitting in the pulpit and if we heard something hilarious somehow he’d find me to laugh! There’s two things specifically I remember of Minister White, his great sense of humor and above all his sincere love for the Father. When he’d pray, he’d acknowledge the birds, bees, trees, the beautiful sky….and even how the rocks glorify God and will never cease from worshipping Him. Hearing that as a child really changed my perspective of God being something like “Santa Claus” and me always ready to see what I could earn from Him just from good behavior.  Instead I began to see God as sovereign, merciful, loving and gracious to all of humankind. I began to see God and His love toward us in everything…my love and relationship then evolved even the more. 


And for that Minister White, 
Thank you. Thank you loving God. Thank you for allowing God to use you. I can be confident that you are in heaven with the Father and I can be so thankful that I will see you again soon…. I see the Batman signal appeared across the sky, shining beyond the clouds and the God of all had a mission for you greater than earth. Thank you for serving in every way that you did. 🙏🏾♥️✝️ 🕊 

Bradley will always be remembered for his big smile and big heart. Whenever he saw my husband and I at the Dayton VA, he always had time to chat. RIH my brother.

Brad…. Or as I called you B-Rad. You left an everlasting amount of memories. All the way back to the CLC/Ft. Thomas/Cincinnati VA days/nights to helping me through the most difficult times in my life. You was always just a call away. Your  smile lit up the entire room and your laugh was one of a kind. Marisa,  I wanted to let you know how much  Brad helped me after I left the E.D   After going into Prime Care I had several occurrences where I needed some expert help.  I called Brad and he came down to my office for a chat.  Brad always with that great big smile and can do attitude  had my issue fixed in no  time.  So the next time some thing occurred I did not hesitate in giving your Brad a quick call.  Brad was always so kind and helpful.  I never liked having to call him but the results were always so positive. When you two got married I was so pleased.  Two lovely people matched together.  I am so very sorry for your loss. In the few months that I did have the honor of working with you, I am most grateful for your thoughtful words and actions. You had one of the biggest smiles I had ever seen and a heart of gold. You would always tell me, ''I'm here if you need me.'' Your spirit was like none other. I will always cherish you. To the White Family, you are continuously in my thoughts and prayers.

I will never forget when I work at VA I'm Starbucks he will come and buy a coffee just so he could get dollars to put in the change machines. He would do it a couple times everyday, and I asked him why was getting all these quarters and he said he was saving them so he could take the love of his life on there Honeymoon anywhere she wants to go!!! Maria he was such a beautiful person!!! My condolences to you and your family!!!!!!

To the Family:    It's hard to believe that Bradley is no longer with us; we are all heart broken.  We find comfort in knowing that he is resting in the presence of Jesus.  He will always have a special place in our hearts as being a loving, kind, caring and a strong family man. Family, I'm so sorry I cannot be with you to celebrate Bradley's Homegoing service, however, my thoughts and prayers are with you in the spirit of love.  This unimaginable saddness and  brokenhearted pain was felt in the immediate separation of his life from this realm of Creation.  As we linger now, to endure  this journey of grief focused on our loss, I pray we will fix our hearts and minds to REMEMBER ... not to forget ... how the very breath of Bradley's life touched us in so many special ways.  My nephew lived with  the confidence of knowing that he was blessed from the day he was born.  He cherished the love of his devoted family.  He knew he was purposed to be a vessel for God's plan to bring JOY to the lives of others.  He was quite the entertainer ...  not for self-centeredness ...  but to pour-out the fruit of God's spirit into the lives of all who gleaned from his insightful gift of humor and laughter.  His alter-ego, understudied Batman's plight that made him a "hero" of encouragement and counsel ... reminding others of God's supernatural power of the "good" dwelling within our hearts.  His BIG personality was all-encompassing of his desire to share his love, especially with his family and friends.   My prayer is that each of us, like Bradley, will rely on God's promise to know that nothing can ever separate us from His love as we travel on life's journey toward our heavenly home.  Read: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18.   

I knew Brad from his time in the service and then as a new hire with the VA. I will never forget seeing the big old smile, hearing that laugh, and that little shake of his head (with the twinkle in his eye ) when he saw me at work my first week and said, "Good to see you and welcome." He always had time for you, always helping out, and always had the ability to raise your spirits. He truely loved his family, friends, lived his values and spiritual beliefs. While I know I and many others would love to still have him here with us, I feel some comfort in knowing he is with his heavenly father and I can just imagine that big old smile and laugh welcoming other in through those gates saying, "Welcome." God bless him and his family in your grief.

Marisa and Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Brad was a wonderful man. He ALWAYS had a big smile when ever I would see you too together . I would walk by your office everyday checking to see how he was doing:) Lean on Jesus in your weakest hour. He will give you ALL the strength you need. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

A lot of people don't know this about you, but it is my funniest memory of you. We were working private security detail for a very wealthy person. While walking through the house during construction, I turned off the flashlight on you. You were so mad at me. I have never knew someone that was scared of the dark. It didn't really scare you but you were really mad at me. You quickly forgave me. You are one of the funniest guys I've ever met. You were also a very kind, gentle soul which I know a lot of people can verify. You are forever in my heart brother. Rest in peace brother, until we meet again. 

I was so very sorry to hear of Bradley’s passing but am so blessed I had the chance to know him through my friendship with his sister Vicki. Some of my best memories of him were those times I’d stay the night at her house and how he loved to pick at us. But he made us laugh too.. that man had the biggest smile I’d ever seen and a heart to go with it. And he stopped ribbing me so  much when he found out I was a Batman fan as well.  I know he’s now at peace with his earthly father and his Heavenly Father as well.. you will be greatly missed dear Bradley❤️

Bradley always had a minute for me even when I would see him making a mad dash across the VA.   Brad was always for everyone and he always put others before himself.  BATMAN YOU WILL BE MISSED

Brad and Marisa  personified a loving couple.  Brad always had a bright smile and and kind conversation.  He will truly be missed.

I have so many memories of growing up with Brad,my cousin,from teaching us to catch minnows  and  crawfish ,reading  his thousands of comic books,playing the latest and greatest toys,Stretch Armstrong,Hugo were his favorites I loved going to spend the night at his house,he would keep you laughing with jokes and entertainment !!!but he was serious when he needed to be,,    Every time we lost an Uncle, Uncle Jerome,Uncle Joe ,Uncle James ,Brad would call, we would stay on the phone in disbelief ,sharing memories.That’s the kind of man Brad was,always thinking of others,the best man I know.I will miss him!!

We grew up together in Clifton Forge Va,  been friends since elementary school.  He was a big fan of Batman. Brad came from a great family,  he would always give me his caramel cake that his mom baked at lunch. He knew how much I loved her food.  He was loved by everyone and was always smiling and just being a good person.  He ask me to pray for him and tell my family to pray for him and we did. And now he's home with his earthly and heavenly Father.   Rest my friend until we meet again.

My sincere condolences for your loss. Bradley was a kind person with a great personality and spirit.  Being his cousin and friend was a gift. Growing up you could always count on him to lift your spirit and make you smile.  He will be missed.

Brad, you will be sorely missed. Your faith, strength, and character are just a few of the things I admired. All our military stories, movie quotes, and conversations will stay with me forever. You were always there for me. You were, are, and always will be my friend and brother. Love always.
