John, it's been 2 years since you left this world.  We think about you all the time.  We pray for your loved ones for continued healing. Until we meet again my brother.

Wonderful memories of John pop up on Facebook from time to time ( thanks Facebook)! And it always surprises me and then makes my heart happy! Yes, I shed tears and reminisce of the funny, fun and quiet moments with him.   Gone too soon 💗

I have many fond memories of dancing with John on the dance floor. He was full of life and always had a kind word to share. I miss his smile and his love for living in the moment. I think of him often and will carry him in my heart always! 

So many wonderful memories of John.  He was so kind and accepting to all.  He sure was loved by the ladies and respected by the gents.  I had the privilege of dating John and getting to know his kind heart.  He is missed!  I love when our pictures popup in Facebook memories....he was THE best selfie photographer!!  Miss and love you John 

John, Angela and I are going to miss you very much.  We will see you again brother and when we get there, we know you will have found the best places to visit and will welcome us with open arms and a gentle smile like you always did when we saw you.  It is an honor and a pleasure to be considered your friend.  If Angela and I didnt live so far away from where you worked, we would have had you stay with us long ago.  It has been difficult to put into words the pain we all feel of your passing, but we all smile because we know you are still here in our hearts,  in the cardinals we see congregating in our yards, in the many inexplicable blessings we have recently had.  We know you are there.  You are a great man, perhaps greater than you realized in life.  I appreciate your service to our country.  I appreciate your dedication and passion for your friends and for live music, in particular, Bombshell.  It will never be the same going to their shows and not seeing you there, ready to help, ready with a smile, and ready with a hug.  We love you John.  See you when we get to where you are. 

John, Rick and I met you two years ago at a Bombshell gig and we remember how welcoming and kind you were even then. In the time that followed, we all came to be great friends and we got to experience the beautiful and  kind soul you were! We were happy to help when you needed a hand and I will treasure those conversations in messenger just a few short months before you were called home. We are going to miss you dearly!

You will be remembered by many. You were the kindest soul. When ever I saw your smiling face, I couldn't help but smile. You brought a lot of joy to others. I know you are now at peace, but your presence here will always be missed. Thank you for making me smile.

John was one of the warmest, most friendly people I have ever met.  Always a smile and kind word and seemed to know everyone.  My deepest condolences to his  family.  It’s a loss to many of his friends here in Virginia.  

John was a member of our small group from HOPE church. We were blessed to have known him and we appreciate all that he contributed to our group. He will be missed greatly but I know he is now at peace with our Lord.

I will miss seeing your bright smile.  You were one of my first friends when I moved to Richmond.  We had many good times, and I loved our Sunday afternoons listening to good music at the microbreweries.  You were kind to everyone you met.  You were always there for me.  I am still in shock, but I know you’re at peace dancing & listening to a great band in heaven!

Still so very hard to believe. We had some great times at shows & some fun rides to those out of town shows blasting the Yacht Rock station just singing right along to all those songs. And like Josie said, Bombshell just isn’t going to be the same without you there with us. Love ya dude! You’re dearly missed my friend!

I don’t know who came up with this saying “ Sometimes memories sneak out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks“ but it’s so true.  This has been heartbreaking.  I will remember your funny personality,  smart wit and that great Boston accent.  You are the #1 Patriots fan and deserves that title.  You will always have a place in my heart and I will never forget you. My promise to you is, I will not let time past on letting people know how much they mean to me. Keep dancing.

John, a good man with a big heart and a dear friend to all as well as an avid Patriots fan who will be missed on the dance floor. You loved your family and were loved by them in return. You were a great friend to all and had many many many friends that all loved you dearly. You were always nice and kind to everyone. You are a man of faith. I will miss a dear friend, mistah sistah. You are at peace now. 

I met John at Pour House in Richmond, VA on May 11, 2019. Little did I know our friendship would be cut so short.  He was passionate about "his band" Bombshell and his friends. It was always a joy to see him out at many of the live music venues, and I'm blessed to have had him as a friend. Rest in peace and rock on my friend ❤🤘🎶

I worked with your father for many years and remember you as a high school kid coming to walk your dad home .Years latter you came to work at Good Humor too .You were a great worker and a great person with a big heart and a good word for everyone .You will be greatly missed by all who knew you rest in peace John you have earned it .

I have so many memory of John and his Dad. That's right i worked with your dad too. Working with them for over 25 year's at Good Humor Breyers...John always liked to scoop ice cream for the scoop a bowl in Boston where he help raise money for the jimmy fund every year!! he had a kind soul,,fly high John fly high,,..your friend...Timothy O'rourke.
