She was educated in the Boston Public Schools system and attended nursing school in Boston, MA. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ at the St. Angela’s Church in Mattapan, MA where she was a dedicated member. Later in life Angela was a member of The Glorious Church of God and Christ in Roxbury, MA under her mother-in-law, the late Pastor Lizzie Ruth Cobb. Upon relocating to Framingham, MA Angela became a member of Greater Framingham Community Church (GFCC) where she was an active member until being called home.
She was united in holy matrimony to Jeffery Emmanuel Cobb on Valentine’s Day in 1988 after many years of courtship. This union was blessed with four beautiful children. Jeffery preceded her in death on May 5th, 1989. Angela later found love with Hillis Dwayne Turner. They enjoyed many travels and had lots of fun loving years together.
Angela supported many charities throughout the Framingham and Boston areas. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality she was adored by many. She loved and supported her Boston sports teams and was an avid garderner. Angie enjoyed reading, cooking, writing poetry, working in her gardens and being with family. She was always big on family.
Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life Friday, April 21st, 2017 at Metrowest Medical Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham, MA surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Ella Mae Warren; her husband: Jeffery Emmanuel Cobb; her grandmothers: Fleight Ann Holmes and Lucille Washington; her sister: Sheila Diane Warren; her brother: Maurice Jerome Warren; her grandsons: JeCarl Emmanuel Esperance and Raheem Robertson; her uncles: Willie James Washington, Henry Lee Washington, Clarence, “Uncle Fuzzy” Warren, Robert Holmes, and Harvey Holmes; her aunts: Amelia “Aunt Babe” Warren, Anna “Aunt Tutti” Warren and Annabelle Warren; her brothers-in law, Malachai and
Vernon Cobb, Harold Divens, Alvin “Al” Gray, James “Kofi” Williams and, her niece: Aleisha Warren Gray.
