Ronald L. McDaniel, beloved family man, passed away peacefully in his home on October 24, 2016. Born in 1949, Ronnie Mac was raised in Virginia. He served in the Army from 1968 - 1974, earning a Purple Heart for injuries received in Vietnam. A well-loved veteran with Agent Orange problems, he retired from Labors Local #578 after 30 years. His hobbies included fishing, gambling and antique searching. Ron was a friendly neighborhood man who will be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn McDaniel, daughter Julie McDaniel (Robert), granddaughter Brittany Morse (Danny), grandson Zachary Morse (Stephanie), great-grandson Abraham Verdonck as well as 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille & Lloyd McDaniel.
Visitation will be held 5 - 7 PM Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at Dove - Witt Family Mortuary, Fountain, Colorado.
Memorial services will be held 4 PM Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Dove - Witt.
