Robert Joseph Jolly, 57 years old, and long time resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on
November 25, 2010 at Memorial Hospital due to natural causes.
Robert, born on July 24, 1953, grew up on a ranch in Aguilar, Colorado. He graduated from Aguilar High School and then went to Trinidad State Junior College where he obtained his Associates degree in 1973. Afterwards, he joined the US Army and meet and married his only love, Donna Goben, on August 2, 1974. During their life together Robert and Donna lived in Maryland, Germany, Kentucky, and Texas before retiring “back home” in Security, Colorado in 1995. Robert spent a total of 22 years in the Army, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1995. During retirement, he spent his time hunting, raising his family and working locally for MCS Service Company. Robert was a veteran of Vietnam, Desert Storm, and Somalia.
Robert is survived by his wife, Donna Jolly, children: Jennifer Alley married to Aaron Alley, Laura Jolly, Robert Jolly II, Matthew Jolly; his grandchildren Nicholas Janczak, Samantha Alley, Kristy Autumn Alley, Hunter Alley; parents Thomas and Edna Jolly; siblings Thomas, Jane, Jeff, Elizabeth, Daniel, and Clarence; and his four legged children Duke, Squeaky, and Peanut “The little prince”. His granddaughter Toni Jean Alley precedes him in death.
Robert Jolly’s service will be on 29, November 2010 at the Dove-Witt Family Mortuary in Fountain, Colorado.
