Millie Ann Thompson, age 82, passed away on September 16, 2011 at 6:22pm, with loved ones by her side. Death was due to complications from a stroke and Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Walsen Camp (Walsenburg), July 16, 1929 to John and Angelina Zorman. She was a long time resident of Widefield, CO with her husband Stanley who preceded her in death. Three brothers and her son Michael Gene also predeceased her.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Martin (Eric) of Aurora, CO and Karen Hegg (Rick)of Colorado Springs, CO, two grandchildren Josh and Codi and her sister, Angie Federico of Pueblo, CO.
Before her illness, she was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, now St Dominic Catholic Church. Millie loved anything sweet and to be outdoors with the sun shining on her.
The family wishes to thank Bear Creek Nursing and Rehab in Morrison, CO and SolAmor Hospice for all the love and support that they gave our mom.
She is and will be deeply missed.
