Mary Josephine Fletcher was born on June 15, 1957 to Casimer "Casey" and Helen Jablonski in Wisconsin. She had five siblings, three older brothers, Roger, Jerry, and Dick, an older sister, Jane, and a younger brother David, who she grew up with and was very close
Mary grew up to love fast, sporty cars (thanks to her brothers!) and being active with cheerleading and anything with watersports and downhill skiing.
She loved traveling, finding that living in Germany was the best because it was a central location with trains going everywhere! During her life, Mary's travels took her to Germany, Switzerland (where she dislocated her shoulder skiing the Matterhorn), France, Holand, Tunisia, and Mexico, as well as all over the United States.
She had been married to a university classmate named Don. Eventually they ended their marriage. Shortly after, Mary met Tony (Charles) at work and fell in love.
Mary and Tony married in 1986 in a small ceremony at Tony's parents' house in Kentucky. Casey, Mary's daughter, was born in 1987 and her son, Charlie, was born in 1989.
Everyone remembers Mary as fiery and full of life. Though she was only 4'10", she had a presence about her that made her stand out. Unfortunately, she sadly passed away May 23, 2022 after a very brief battle with cancer.
Mary will be deeply missed by all that knew her. A Celebration of Life will take place on July 3rd around noon at the American Legion Post 38 in Fountain, CO. This will be a potluck so we ask you to bring a side or dessert to share.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Dove-Witt.com for the Fletcher family.
