She is survived by her husband, Bill Hoke; sons, James R. Hoke (Michelle), Elliott M. Guerrero (Amanda); grandchildren, James William Hoke, Ian N. Guerrero, Izaac N Guerrero, Isabella N. Guerrero; Siblings, John Lucero, Danny Lucero, Richard Lucero, Francis Dudley, Steven Lucero; numerous nieces and nephews.
Lorene's hobbies included, golf, antique store shopping, reading, taking care of her doggie, Georgie. When ever time allowed Lorene loved spending time with her grandchildren and riding the motorcycle with her husband, Bill.
In her professional life, Lorene had a desire to help the military personnel find housing in the Colorado Springs Community. She also worked in multi family housing management.
She faithfully and honorable served her country in the United States Navy from November 15, 1978 until November 12, 1982.
A funeral service for Lorene will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. US HWY 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817. A committal service will occur Monday, September 26, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expy, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. A visitation will occur Monday, September 26, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6630 S. US HWY 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817.
