Born in Oklahoma to Milton Taylor Haldaman and Nellie Oral Evelyn (Crowner) Haldaman on January 5, 1955, Lois was the 8th of 8 children.
Lois graduated from Seiling High School in Seiling, Oklahoma in 1973. Lois married Danny Page in July of that year and they had three children together, April, Amber, and Cody. After the untimely death of her first husband, Lois and her family’s lives were blessed when she later met and joined lives with Jim Wood who was also the father of three children, Tracy, Connie, and Julie. It was their greatest joy when they could be with all their children. Jim and Lois shared many, but not nearly enough, happy years together until his passing in 1993.
Lois is remembered as generous and humble. She was a truly empathetic person who cared deeply for others. If she saw a need, she filled that need. She gave of herself without hesitation if it would ease the need of another. Lois enjoyed being a grandmother, yard sales, thrifting, painting, crafting, and digital arts. She wrote profound poetry and was a fantastic photographer who took photography classes in Enid, OK. Her family is so grateful for the treasure-trove of beautiful memories she captured with her camera. She was an avid reader whose library wait-list was always full. A talented artist in multiple medias, she spent time exploring and nurturing her God-given artistic talents. She often shared warm memories of painting classes she took that were taught by her sister Verla Severn and brother Stephen Haldaman. Lois was deeply patriotic. She supported the endeavor to preserve freedom and she prayed for her country unceasingly. She was truly the world’s best “Grammy” who never missed a chance to celebrate her grandchildren’s birthdays, holidays, and accomplishments and make them feel loved and cherished.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, husbands Dan (Daniel Earl Page) and Jim (James Floyd Wood), granddaughter Ashley Dawn Gilbert, beloved cousin Wesleene Wynia, sisters Verla Severn and Myrna Rae Carpenter, brother Milton Earl Haldaman, brothers-in-law Mervin Chapman and Wilber Severn, as well as many other beloved family and friends.
Lois is survived by her children April (J. Jacobson) Peters, Amber (Russell) Bohlmann, Cody (Karen) Page, as well as Jim’s daughters Tracy (Mark) Goulding, Connie Banner, and Julie (Ned) Bates, grandchildren Savannah (Michael) Holmes, Rylynn Peters, Baylee Bohlmann, Delainy Bohlmann, Emma Page, Alexa Page, Cannon Page, Jonathan Goulding, Emily Goulding, Jennifer Keomanideth, Meagan Smith, Sara Lewis, Rowan Bates, Lucy Bates, great-grandchildren Haelyn, Lachlan, and Rhiannon Holmes, and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins, in-laws, family and friends. Lois is also survived by brothers Dale (Patricia) Haldaman and Stephen Haldaman, and sisters Carol (Les) Steele and Leslee Chapman.
Lois's love was boundless, and she always had everyone on her heart and in her prayers even when separated by space and time. May she be reuniting with loved ones that have gone on before her, and may she be waiting to welcome home the ones left behind who miss her so dearly.
