Katherine H. Sill

June 26, 1931 ~ February 12, 2017

Katherine (Katie) Sill passed away peacefully on February 12, 2017. She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio where she met and married Stanton E. Sill in April of 1952.

They lived in several states around the US and in Germany following Stan's career. Katie earned her nursing degree (LPN) in Missoula, Montana and practiced nursing from 1964-1978. She was a volunteer nurse at Penrose St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs after they moved and retired here. She was also a supporter of The Salvation Army.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stanton, mother Martha Helm, brother George Helm and sister Louise Helm. She is survived by her children David of Marion, Texas, John (Kathleen) of Ashland, Wisconsin and Martha (Jesse) of Colorado Springs. She leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Andrea, Christopher, Steven, Patrick and Katie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Village 7 Presbyterian Church, 1:00 pm.

Burial will take place at a later date alongside Stanton E. Sill.
