Julie Elaine Groff

Julie Elaine Groff, beloved stepmother, wife, and grandmother passed away on January 17th, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Florida May 31, 1953, one of three children born to the late Robert and Carolyn Hancock.

After working as a nurse, she moved on to work alongside her husband, David Alan Groff, owner of Groff’s Automotive. They retired from the automotive business in 2001 as the third generation, Brian Groff, bought the business to carry on the legacy.

Julie always had a passion for Nascar and spent many hours watching her favorite drivers turn left. She enjoyed spending time with friends who gathered weekly to talk about the good old days.

Julie is survived by three loving stepsons, Jeff Groff, Jason Groff, and Brian Groff; three precious grandchildren, Cody Groff, Chasen Groff, and Lillian Groff; one great grandchild Silas Wolf Groff; and sibling Robert Hancock.

Funeral services will be held February 3rd, 2023, at 1pm at Pikes Peak National Cemetery.

A graveside service for Julie will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80925.
