John was born December 16, 1962 to John and Margaret (Lee) Montgomery in St. Louis, Missouri.
In 1987 John met Roberta (Durance) in Houston, Texas. John and Roberta had two son’s, Joshua Thomas and Cody Russell Montgomery. John’s career was in the pest control industry. He was a certified termite inspector and pest control technician. John and Roberta later in life moved from Houston to Colorado to enjoy the mountains. John spent his time hunting, snow skiing, BBQ-ing, being outdoors and hanging out with the family.
John is survived by his wife, Roberta, son’s Joshua and wife Gisele, Cody and wife Kayli and mother Margaret Lee. John was preceded in death by Aunt Irene Morton, Aunt Mary Allen and Cousin Nick Hawthorne.
In honor of his final wishes his Celebration of Life was taken place after death with family in Florida.
And just like that, the cowboy rides away.........
