

Mrs. Janet L. Morrow passed away on February 28, 2024 at approximately 3:18am surrounded my her family. Janet was born on December 22, 1967 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and was later adopted by James and Mildred Leslie. Janet graduated from Widefield High School where she was part of her high school track team. Janet would go on to set many records in high school as a long distance runner.
Janet was married to Everett Morrow in August of 1991 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Janet attended cosmetology school and graduated American Beauty College. She worked as a stylist for over 30 years receiving many accolades for her work performance and unique hairstyles. She was always a masterful planner and critical thinker. She fulfilled a lifetime goal of opening her own salon (Morrow Cuts & Styles) in Columbus, Georgia where she thrived as a business owner. She later fulfilled another goal as a business owner of Jazzy Jans Jewelry and co-owner of E&J Smoke Shack. She loved the outdoors and nature (rocks), art, diamond painting, puzzles, music, and so much more. She had a kind soul and was a very loving and giving person who would care for other before herself.
Janet is survived by her husband Sergeant Major (Retired) Everett Morrow, her brother James Leslie Jr. and his wife Lorraine, her daughter Monike C. Morales, her son Captain Tyrell D. Morrow and his wife Tiffany N. Morrow, her grandkids, Lailah L. Lizama, Isaiah S. Morales and Tamera M. Morrow.
