I would like to send prayers and my condolences to the Reyes Family. 

I had the pleasure of meeting (Aunt)Theresa and (Tio) Neto before I married their nephew Dee in 2002. I had to pass the Aunt Theresa test because in her words Dee only deserved the BEST. Needless to say now 17 yrs and 3 sons later I passed her test and even got to visit/stay with them in Colorado Springs. We were always welcomed with open arms by them and their family.  Neto always loved to take us sight-seeing when we were in town and even took us to Cripple Creek, CO. While I went to the shops Dee, Aunt Theresa and Tio Neto went to the casinos. Their daughter Rachel was sweet enough to stay with me and shop the last time we visited. Dee always looked forward to their visits to Tucson and our trips to see them in Colorado. We last saw Tio Neto(Reyes) in 2019 when he visited Tucson before Covid and had planned to visit him next summer. Time isn't always fair but we will always treasure those special memories.  Thank you for accepting me into your family but most of all loving Dee so much unconditionally. He always talks about his memory of going to the Casino with his Uncle Neto and playing Bingo with Aunt Theresa when they visited Tucson. I will forever remember you as a gentleman. From the day we met over35  years ago you always made me feel like family. My uncle was a super guy.  When he visited at me at work back in the mid 1990's he ran into 3 of his friends in my office.  Years later 2 of those gentleman called me before they passed, because they wanted to say bye to ERNIE KINGS, as they called him.  He  called them and they left this world in peace.  He was a leader, at a young age, but he had loyal followers to the end.  We all loved him and loved when he visited.  We were lucky to have him in our lives. This memory is on behalf of Martha I Pimienta, older sister of Ernesto 'Neto' Reyes.  He was born shortly after11 PM July 3rd.  Starting July 4th, I became his protector, best friend, body guard against bullies, homework assistant, and care giver.  Everyone who knew him was attracted to his charismatic personality.  He visited as often as he could, when our parents were alive and continued the tradition afterward.  He loved to visit but never was able to make all the rounds to all his friends.  Years after the service took him from Nogales, his friends would drop by leaving messages and phone numbers for his return.  He was a great brother we kept in communications every week.  The last week of his life we communicated more than usual, but we laughed, and shared memories.  He told me he felt over whelming peace in his life.  He said he just had a little cough, that was all,  he would be fine.  He never complained and was always happy.  That was what his friends sought to find when they visited with him.  He never changed and had time to share with those he loved.

Ive known Reyes since I was 8 years old and not once have I ever seen him without a smile on his face he was always a happy man and aleays gave me a hug everytime we seen each other he will make a beautiful addition to the Angels in Heaven rest in peace Reyes Gods speed

Mr. Reyes, you were always such a great person.  Always had that beautiful smile on your face.  You are truly missed.  So much love to the family.

You were one of the kindest , gentlest and loving souls I know. You enjoyed life and  would always say "any day I wake up is a good day", you always saw the best in people, and never had a bad word to say about anyone.  I will miss your beautiful smile and your zest for life.  Loving you always Your #1  .

My uncle Neto was a great man. He would always find a way to put a smile on your face, make you feel welcome into the family. When he met my husband Ali, he told him, what are you waiting for,  just marry her.  When I told him that my son took his birthday,  he laughed. I always looked forward to his Christmas  visits. 
He would supervise the tamale making. Volunteering to sample them. He would sample the cookies as they came out of the oven. It saddens my heart that my three kids will not get to know such a great man.

Neto was a kind, happy and hard working man.  As kid, we all looked forward to him visiting for Christmas.  Everyone was happy to see him and watch the same movie over and over, it was Goodfellas and we all enjoyed it.  It felt good to have him around and play cards, hear him talk about Las Vegas and his children.  My wife Jennifer and I stayed in his home and met a lot of his extended family.  I am sad that Neto has left us.  He is missed by everyone and dearly loved even more.

My uncle, Neto was a kind and generous man. He opened up his home to me as a young woman. He was one of those persons that was instrumental in helping to mold  me to the person I am today.  I would not be where I am, if not for him, my auntTheresa, my aunt Rachel, uncle Eddie, siblings, and my parents. Always supportive, allowing me to dream of becoming a doctor.  I saw their hard work and dedication, dreaming of the impossible as possible.  Taking chances.  Allowing me to blaze my own trial, as they did theirs.  I dared to learn to drive, get a car, a job,  I dared to follow my dreams.  I will never forget the time I spent with my family.  He was memorable to all people, happy, honest, genuine.  A true American hero, who served his county.   It was the military that  took him to Colorado Springs, not Vietnam. He loved it there so much , he settled there.  We will miss him greatly.  We always looked forward to his visits.  Loved, never forgotten,  always missed.  Veronica 

I am so sorry and so saddened to hear about Mr. Reyes passing away, I have fond memories of him at family gatherings, spending holidays and special occasions with his kids, family and friends.  He was a lovely man who will be sorely missed.  I would like to extend my sincere condolences and love to his family, including Franky and Amy.  My family and I are here if you need anything. We love you both so much.
