David Nelson Kent died in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family on May 2, 2023. He was born in Orange, California on January 20, 1972 to his parents, Debbie and Dale. He grew up in California and also lived in Las Vegas before he settled in Colorado. Dave was given a second chance at life after a near fatal car accident in 1998 which also led him to an eternal relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dave made the most of his second half, fulfilling more dreams than he ever thought possible. He married the love of his life, Erin, in 1998 and together they raised 4 incredible children that adore him. He started his other legacy, Kent Glass, with $50 in the bank in 2011 and has been blessed immensely all along the way. Dave never let the dust settle on him as he chased adventure through travel, dirt-biking, skiing, hunting and fishing. He also took great pleasure in buying and selling anything with a motor and collecting many more things than his wife was aware of. He loved to serve others and found the perfect avenue through the local church and missions. Dave was a fantastic friend, incredible boss, generous man, hard-working provider and loving father and husband. Everyone who met him was affected by his engaging personality. He will be desperately missed. He is survived by his wife Erin, his children Nelson (Rachel), Wyatt (Miki), Julianna and Lila, his sister Robin (Tramayne), and nephew Logan, and his father, Dale. He was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Delancey, and his nana, Leda Vitko. He has also left behind his loving pups, Marty and Lacey. In lieu of flowers, it would make Dave incredibly happy to know you donated to his favorite charitable event, the Rocky Mountain Pig Jig. Please visit his memorial site to share a memory to his family. His celebration of life will be held May 12, 2023 at 2:00 at Cross Fellowship Black Forest, doors will be open at 1pm for coffee and mingling.
