Curtis Blackmon, 62, of Colorado Springs, passed away 15 December 2017. He was born in Ozark, Alabama on 26 January 1955. Curtis Blackmon graduated from Carroll High School and received his high school diploma, and a Bachelors of Applied Science. He was married to Angela Blackmon 19 May 1992.
Curtis Blackmon was a retired E-7 in the United States Army, and a retired postal supervisor for the United States Postal Service. He had a passion for music, playing guitar, and pets.
He was preceded in death by his father Willie J Sistrunk, his mother Daisy Bell Curly, and his brothers John Arthur Curley and Willie James Curley. He is survived by his wife, Angela Blackmon, his son Joshua D. Orr of Illinois, his sister Barbara Dobbins and her husband Keith W. Dobbins of Colorado Springs, half brothers and sisters Alice Stanford, Gloria (Penny) Dawkins, Willie C. Crittendon, Billy Ray Crittendon, all of Ozark, Alabama, and an abundance of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday 22 December 2017 at 3:30 p.m. at Dove Witt Family Mortuary.
