Claire Harper

Claire Anne (Stayer) Harper, 63, died Thursday, February 17th, 2011, in Colorado Springs, Colorado at Memorial Hospital. She recently retired from her job as a Dental Office Manager for Dr. Robert Griffin, in Colorado Springs, and worked previously as the Office Manager for Widefield Dental. Claire began her career spending two years in the Army Dental Corps as a Dental Hygienist and Assistant.

Claire was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, to her parents Lois Wills and John Stayer, but spent her youth in Canton, Ohio with her five siblings Edward Stayer of Canton, Ohio, Lois Sullivan of Castlerock, Colorado, Sharon Green of Massillon, Ohio, Donna McIntyre of Canton, Ohio and Susan Stayer of Seward, Alaska.

Claire was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and very much enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert William Harper, of Yonkers, NY, and leaves behind five adoring children: Debra Onaindia of Erie, Colorado, Robert Harper Jr., of Fountain, Colorado, Lori Conklin of Longmont, Colorado, Ryan Harper of Grand Junction, Colorado and Sharon Harper of Fountain, Colorado; as well as fourteen dearly loved grandchildren: Katelyn Anthony, Johnathon Harper, Benjamin Onaindia, Robert James Harper, Nathan Harper, Destiny Conklin, Tristan Nicholson, Margaux Onaindia, Tobias Harper, Ander Onaindia, Syanne Harper, Riley Harper, Elijah Harper-Norris, and Naomi Onaindia.

Services will be held on Friday, February 25th. Visitation will begin at 9am with a vigil and memorial service beginning at 11am, at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary in Fountain, Colorado.
