Charles Gary Puckett II

Chuck was born to Cheryl Puckett on November 22, 1984 in Colorado Springs, CO. During his childhood he belonged to The Candlelighters, a group devoted to children with bleeding disorders and cancer. As a teenager he was chosen by the Make-a-Wish Foundation. He took part in building the float for the Festival of Lights. It was an extreme honor for Chuck to be able to not only help build the float but also be able to ride on it in the Festival of Lights Parade. Chuck was also involved with the youth group at Restoration Church and made many life long friends.

He completed his medical and EMT certification at Pikes Peak Community College in 2012. Then became a volunteer for the Hannover Fire Department until 2018 and would volunteer annually for the "Buddy Walk" to support the Colorado Springs Down Syndrome Association. He truly enjoyed his time with the fire department especially during the Annual Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Chuck had such a passion for helping and meeting new people he took a job as a shuttle bus driver for Pikes Peak. He worked until his health would not allow it and truly missed helping others and the opportunity to work on Pike's Peak.

In addition to his devoted, caring mother Cheryl, he leaves behind two sisters Renee Dyer (Mark) and Shai Richardson (Arzy). A step-brother, Mike Morley. Three nieces; Kelsey Dyer, Emily and Langley Morley and one nephew Payton Morley. He remained close to Heather Mitchell, mother of Payton, Emily and Langley Morley. A friend whom he thought of like a brother; Scott Underdahl. He also had many other friends that he cherished as family and were very important to him.

A 1pm Service for Chuck will be held December 4, 2021 at First United Methodist Church of Fountain located, 1003 N Santa Fe Ave, Fountain, CO 80817

Knowing Chuck was so giving and willing to help anyone, the family will be having a pot luck style meal after the service in his honor, all are welcome.
