Celestina M. Trujillo

May 20, 1933 - January 1, 2014

Long time Security resident, Celestina Trujillo, entered eternal life on January 1, 2014. She was born to Jose Urbano Martin Gonzales and Manuela de Atocha Espinoza Esquibel Gonzales in San Pablo, CO.

In her younger days she played softball with neighborhood kids. Tina also spent time embroidering and playing the accordion. She enjoyed dancing, music, coloring, perusing magazines and valued spending time with her family reminiscing more than anything else.

Tina is survived by her sisters: Susie Medina, Tiva Padilla and Lupita (Pete) Vigil; her children: Josephine Colorado (Robert), Manuelita Trujillo and Angel Starns (Brian); grandchildren: Nicholas Colorado, Felicia Colorado-Ball (Shawn), Payton and Shane Trujillo-Smith, James and Briana Starns; great granddaughter: Ava Ball as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Ralph C. Trujillo and Tony Lucero; sons: Anthony “Tony”, Ralph “Marty”, and Peter Trujillo.

Visitation will be held at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 South U.S. Highway 85-87, Security, CO on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. with Rosary following. Memorial service will be held at Saint Dominic Catholic Church, 5354 U.S. highway 85-87, Security CO, on Thursday, January 9, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the Mass at Memorial Gardens, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO.

Tina touched many hearts and will truly be missed by her family, friends and caretakers.
