Birdie Lou Davis, 89, of Security, Colorado passed away January 12 2018. She was born in Buffalo CO. Nebraska on 11-09-1928 to Lester O. DeBrie and Lula E. Johnston. Birdie Lou DeBrie attended Shelton School in Nebaska. She was married to Harry W. Davis on June 17, 1946.
Birdie worked on the assembly line for Emerson Electric and Ampex Corp. She was also a caregiver to her son Ted Davis with cerebral Palsy. She had a passion for camping and family gatherings.
Birdie is survived by her children Ted D. Davis and Greg L. Davis (Marjorie); 3 step grandchildren Randy Svoboda, Candy Svoboda, and Kim Choller; and her brother Lester DeBrie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister.
Service will be private, and burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
