Alice Elizabeth Olson

Alice Elizabeth Olson, 92, passed away peacefully at hospice on Oct. 27, 2015 in Colorado Springs, CO. Alice was born in Coggon, IA, spent most of her life in Wisconsin, she worked at Schweiger Industries until retiring in 1988. In 2000, Alice joined her daughter in Colorado Springs, CO.

Alice is the daughter of Leslie L. and Edna Barker, she has two sisters; Rose and Judy. She marries Burnell Olson in Kahoka, MO in 1941. Alice had four children; Gary, Robert, Glen, and Sherry.

Alice was a loving wife and mother, she was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a Christian throughout her lifetime.

Alice's interests included baking, gardening, reading, puzzles, family, and she loved to watch her Packers football and NASCAR racing. She felt that she was always on vacation looking at the beautiful Colorado Mountains.

Alice survived by her sister Rose, of Independence, IA and two children, Robert J., of WI, Sherry E. (Steven Sullivan) of Colorado Springs, CO, as well as 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Alice was taken quickly by cancer and was lovingly cared for by Pikes Peak Hospice in her final days.

A private memorial service will celebrate Alice's life.
