He was born to Roger and Marlene Laird on December 16, 1960 in Tacoma, WA. He was a retired Firefighter of 30 years. Alan was the greatest husband, son, father, brother, grandpa, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his wife Joanna Laird, his father Roger Laird, his children Annette (Danny) Jeffers, Megan (Theron Grant) Ortega, Alex Laird, his sisters Karen (Guill) Gonzalez, Christie Laird, Dianna (Joey Pullara) Vanderwerf, and his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Marlene Laird, and grandparents Lawrence and Alma Laird, and grandma and grandpa Bird. A visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. and a Rosary at 7 p.m. Thurs., December 7th and a Memorial Service on December 9th at 11 a.m. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. Hwy 85/87, Fountain, CO.
