Zona graduated from Cisco High School. She went on to marry Hershel Rains on February 18, 1959 in Cisco, Texas. She was a member of McPherson Road Baptist Church and she had a passion for her family and the church.
Zona was preceded in death by her parents; Elvin and Mewzette Agnew, husband, Hershel Rains, siblings, Imogene Stevenson, Wanda Coats, Rhita Lanier, and Lawson Agnew.
Zona is survived by her children; Russell and wife Sonja Rains of Burleson, Mitch and wife Keri Rains of Peaster. Grandchildren; Kayla and husband Warren Hudson, JW Rains and wife Rachel, Chelsea and husband Scott Dollar, Dalton Rains and wife Sylissa. Great grandchildren; Judah, Eve, Hatton, Jacob, Maddok, Maxxon, James, Cohen, Rivver, Ansom and Luka.
A visitation for Zona will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas.
A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas.
A committal service will occur Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas.
