Willie Mae was born October 21, 1919 in Mineola, Texas to Mamie Lee Babb and Asa Roy Smith.
Willie Mae and her family moved to Fort Worth when she was young. She attended school and helped take care of her younger brother. Willie Mae worked for General Dynamics where she met her husband, Kenneth Paul Bogue.
Willie Mae was many things to many people throughout her lifetime. She was a home maker, the best pet owner, a neighborhood after-school babysitter, but she loved being an usher with Casa Manana most. She loved the Theatre. Willie Mae was a wonderful care taker. She was ornery, funny, mischievous and loved to be the center of attention. She enjoyed playing bingo and being with her family and friends. She always wanted to hold her 100th birthday celebration at Billy Bob's, which she did. She was able to enjoy music, friends and a little dancing. Her presence is deeply missed.
Willie Mae was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Byron "Red" Smith; sister-in-law, Anne Smith and son, Kenneth Paul Bogue, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Annie Bogue and son-in-law Stephan Bugenhagen; daughter-in-law, Sarah Bogue; grandchildren, Melissa Tresser, Jason Bogue, Jason Cook; great-grandchildren, Justin Tresser, Sarah Tresser, Nora Tresser, Ellie Bogue, Emma Bogue; great-great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Aubrey and Delilah Tresser.
