Funeral: Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2pm at Shannon Rose Hill. Visitation in Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Burial at Shannon Rose Hill.
He was born in Fort Worth, TX on January 11, 1939. Bennett graduated from Handley High School, and married Barbara York Carter on February 22, 1958.
Bennett had a career in window and door manufacturing, and owned Carter Window & Door with his father. He had a passion for vintage cars and the outdoors.
Survivors: Wife, Barbara; children, Kenneth Harris, Glen Harris, Bennett Carter, Jr., and Jeffrey Carter; grandchildren, Carmen, Michael, and Lauren Carter, Donald and Zachary Harris, and Keeley Nichole Carter; and several great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Stephen Carter.
