Wesley Albert Miller, Jr. was born on December 16, 1950 to the late Wesley Albert Miller, Sr. and Katherdener Miller in Shelbyville, Indiana. He was the youngest of four children, three which preceded him in death. Wesley graduated from Shelbyville High School. He was an outstanding athlete in basketball and football. He received many achievements and awards. Upon completion of high school, Wesley was accepted into Ball State University with an athletic scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. During his college years Wesley accepted Christ as his Savior and became a member of the Christ Temple Pentecostal Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Upon graduation from college, Wesley enlisted in the US Army. After discharge from the Army, Wesley moved to Fort Worth, and began his teaching and coaching career until his retirement after 25 years. Wesley met his wife Helen and they were married for 25 beautiful years. They were both members of the Potter's House.
Wesley is survived by his loving wife Helen L. Miller; daughter Charity R. Miller; step-daughter Michelle L. Jones and four grandchildren, Jayden, Janiyah, Deyjah, and DJ. There are also many cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces, grandnephews and friends.
