W.T. as he was lovingly known, was very proud to have served his country with the United States Army from 1968 to 1970. A beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend will be dearly missed.
A committal service will be held at a future date, when W.T. will be laid to rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Arrangements are pending.
W.T. is preceded in death by his parents, Welton Thurman Martin Sr. and Mattie Lou Wyatt Martin; and sister, Dora Lynn Martin.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Chris Martin and Susan Martin, and her husband, Mark Brandon; grandchildren, Kaylin, Blake and Kevin; great grandson, Noah; brother, Thomas Martin and his wife, Stevie and nieces, nephews, and friends.
