Wayne Gilbert King, 74, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away March 7, 2020. He was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on January 21, 1946. Wayne attended Paschal High School and Tremble Tech and received a GED in the U. S. Navy.
He was married to Glenda McGowan King on July 26, 1969, in Fort Worth, TX. Wayne retired from Miller Brewing Company in 2008. He had a passion for sports, playing cards, and traveling with his wife.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Leo King and mother, Edna King.
He was survived by his wife, Glenda McGowan King; daughter, Malinda Albers and her husband, Britton; daughter, Deanna Pritchett and her husband, Michael; son, Dwayne King and his wife, Brandi; five grandchildren, Abigail, Alexa, Britton, Hailey, and D.J.; step-grandchildren, Chanell, Bree, and Deja; sibling, Charles King and his wife, Sue; nephews, Chris King and Randy King; nieces, Susan King Hereford, Amy Nix, Gina Asebedo, Amanda Wilson; sisters-in-law, Linda Jacobs and Lisa Perkins; and many, many more family members that adored him.
Funeral arrangements will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Visitation is Wednesday, March 11, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
