Wanda was born in Fort Worth on Aug. 7, 1941. She graduated and received an associate's degree in criminal justice from San Antonio Junior College. Wanda had a career in law enforcement for the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, Pinkerton Detective Agency and the Southlake Police Department, and retired from the Colleyville Police Department. She was the co-chair of the Texas Tea Party.
She had a passion for God, her family, the law and her country.
Survivors: Daughters, Suzanne Faughn of Dawsonville, Ga., and Kandy Perry and Christina Perry, both of Boyd; and grandchildren, Jessica Centola, Sarah Faughn, Tara Perry, Austin Perry, Tyler Maxwell, Veronica Perry, Blake Carney, Ethan Riddle, Madison Carney, Dylan Perry, Devin Perry and Savannah Perry.
