FORT WORTH -- Walter Lloyd Horn, longtime resident of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Feb. 7, 2011.
Funeral Services: Saturday at 2 p.m. at Handley Baptist Church, with a visitation from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Horn was a veteran of World War II. After the war he worked for the Corps of Engineers in Denison Texas for several years. After a brief tour in Galveston, Texas he was transferred to the Southwestern Division in Dallas, Texas, where he remained until 1959 and then transferred to the Fort Worth District.
At the time of his retirement in March 1977, he was in the Hydrology Section in the District Office. Subsequent to his retirement he worked concurrently for the Federal Emergency Managment Agency, Rone Engineers and CMJ Engineering INC.
Mr. Horn has been a member of Handley Baptist Church since 1962.
He is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Katie Diane Horn.
