Alta, So sorry about the loss of Walter. I dated Eugene when the kids were about 5 & 7. Your family was very dear to me. I pray for your comfort.

Growing up as Walter Clower's little sister was definitely a "unique" experience.   I always thought he was one of the most generous men I ever knew...always there with his pockets turned inside out when there was a need.   I will miss him so much, but am so thankful that he no longer lives in pain and with limitations. Grammie welcomed one of her kids "home".

How blessed our lives have been to have Walter as a brother. We will miss his physical presence, but have such  precious memories to fill our hearts.  We continue our prayers for Alta and all the Clower family.  We love you all.

I knew Walter quite well because I saw and talked to him several times a week. My Grandfather and Father operated Barney Jackson & Sons Sharpening right next door the whole time he had his station and since I worked mostly in the lawnmower shop it was my job to go next door and buy gas and oil and such pretty much every other day. I always looked forward to going over and interacting with Walter and the boys. Walter always had a smile on his face and a happy way about him and so did the boys. I have thought about him many times over the years and what a good guy he was. I'm sure you will hear many more similar remembrances in the days to come and I hope this will ease the family's grief in dealing with your loss. Love, Jay

Everyone has a "memorable character" from their youth and Walter was one of mine. He named me "Peapicker" and teased me relentlessly. I loved every minute of it and will always have such fond memories from church, our Wrangler days and visits at the gas station. The Clowers are all very special to me and will always hold a piece of my heart. May God bless you and comfort you all.
