Mr. Wallace Jones

Wallace Eugene Jones, Sr. who was born April 5, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, smiled and laughed through life, departed this life August 24, 2024. Wallace moved to Fort Worth after marring his wife of 52 years, Lutitia Isabel Lindsey - Jones. Wallace attended Tarrant County Veterinarian Program in Fort Worth. Wallace was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Lutitia, loving sons; Jeremey A. Jones and Timothy C. Jones; two brothers, David Jones and William Jones; Wallace is survived by two sons, Wallace E. Jones, Jr. and Anthony P. Jones, Sr. (Sha' Mora Ellis-Jones) and daughter Jillian L. Jones. He is survived by siblings Elizabeth Johnson, Michael Jones and Steven Jones. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; Craig, Ashlee, Addison, Ava, Anthony, Alden, Angelica and Eugenia. As well as five great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Wallace led a life of love, honor, service and gratefulness. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years before beginning his work as an Air Traffic Controller. He later became an accountant for many years before entering hospitality. Wallace worked tirelessly to support his family but never missed an opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was present during the special moments and always offered a warm smile. He loved and celebrated his children as individuals and gave them the gift of security. Wallace lived his life with the highest of expectations for himself and always had a kind word to share. His grandchildren describe him as loving, funny, generous and an awesome person and grandfather. He was a loving and faithful husband to Lutitia and a loving and exceptional father to his children. More than everything Wallace was a man of God and although his time with friends and family has come to an end, he would want no tears or sorrow. He believed in his covenant with God and knew his rightful place was by his side. It is with love and gratefulness that Wallace now rests in the arms of the Lord.
