FORT WORTH -- Vernita Harris passed away at her home Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Mayfield Baptist Church, Pastor L.T. Hall officiating. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors: Husband of 59 years, Wayland Harris Sr.; sons, Wayland Harris Jr. (Linda) and Ervin Eugen Harris (Sharon); daughter, Jeannie Yvetta Lester (Fred); brother, Ervin Reeves (Ella); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; aunt, Margie Brown (Elbert); and a host of other relatives and friends.
