Troy was born in Grosvenor, TX to Troy B and Dorothy Palmore on February 3, 1934. He married Delores Diaz Marin on January 19, 1968 in Seville, Spain. He received his high school GED and an associates in art from Tarrant County Junior College after completing his military service. He worked as a production manager for Motorola for 16 years before he retired. He was a veteran of the Korean war and served in both the Army and Air Force and was awarded marksmanship medals and a Purple Heart. He retired from the Air Force in 1970 at McConnell Air force Base in Wichita, KA.
Troy was preceded in death by Troy B, Dorothy, and Billy Palmore.
Troy is survived by his daughter, Ana Maxey and her husband, Ricky; son, Steve Palmore and his wife, Trudy; daughter, Delores Patterson and her husband, Eric; daughter, Teresa Aldridge and her husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Brandan, Sara, Matthew, Nichole, Michael, Frankie, and Lauren; and great grandchildren, Braylee, Raegan, Owen, Gavin, Olivia, Sierra, and Lillian.
