Troy Wayne Bryant

Troy Bryant, age 71, of Fort Worth, TX passed away on July 19, 2022. He was born on September 5, 1950 to Troy and Bobbie Bryant. He attended Poly High School and Tarrant County Jr. College. He joined the Marine Corp in 1969 including a tour of duty in the Viet Nam war. He was awarded numerous medals for his accomplishments. He served his country proudly.

Family and friends knew him as Rusty, business acquaintances knew him as Troy.

He has been an automotive instructor at Lincoln College of Technology for 39 years. He loved vintage cars and drove the Lincoln dragster for the school in local races. He was proud of his students and the people he worked with. He made an impact on every person he met. He was always helping others and always had a smile on his face. Troy was a very giving and compassionate man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Bobbie Bryant and his sister Karen McGeehee.

He leaves behind his wife, Patricia of 53 years, sons, Christopher Bryant and Shawn Bryant, daughter-in-law Michelle, 4 Grandsons, Brandon, Bryce and Bailey and Shawn, 2 Granddaughters, Kaylee and Sarah, and 2 Great Grandsons, Jackson and Luca.

The Memorial Service will be at a later time. Friends and family will be notified of date, place and time.
