Trena Gail Chaffin

Trena was born on August 30, 1942 to Bill and Juanita Yates in Alvord, TX. She later married her husband Bud Chaffin on June 25, 1960. They were married for 64 wonderful years and had two children together, Darin and Lisa.

Trena enjoyed traveling with her family and spending time with her grandchildren/great grandchildren. She loved fishing and was also an avid cook. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and Gran.

Trena is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Juanita Yates, and her son, Darin Chaffin. She is survived by her husband Bud Chaffin, daughter Lisa Johnson and husband Arden Johnson, daughter in law Krista Steele, grandchildren Hillary Chaffin and husband Price Ferchill, Austin Chaffin and wife Maggie Meadows, and Allison Errico and husband Anthony Errico. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Caroline Hyde, Clifton Meadows, and Cooper Ferchill.

Visitation for Trena will be Wednesday, January 15, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Shannon Funeral Home, 6001 Rufe Snow Dr, Fort Worth, TX.

Graveside service will be on Thursday, January 16, at 1:00 pm at Mount Olivet, 2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX. This is open to both friends and family.
