A devoted family man, Terry shared over 31 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Jessica. Their bond was one of love and dedication, and together they built a home filled with warmth and laughter. Terry took immense pride in his two sons, his oldest son Dr. Tommy Wright and his wife Kayleigh, along with their son TJ (Terry Joseph), and Tanner, an accomplished para-Olympian, and fiancé Maria. His family was his greatest joy and motivation in life.
Terry made his family proud by his determination and work ethic he had as a Director of Transportation at Rockwell Medical. He always strived to work hard to accomplish his own goals which in turn encouraged others to reach for their own.
Terry’s mother, Jeanne Wright, remained a steadfast presence in his life. He also shared a close relationship with his sister Karrie (Doll) and her son Cody, along with Cody’s wife Elizabeth. His extended family included his sisters-in-law Jennifer Johnston and her husband Chris, as well as sister-in-law Jacquelyn Briggs and her husband Paul Guinn along with his nephew Hunter Briggs wife Maddie.
Terry was predeceased by his father Tommy Wright and grandparents Richard Carroll and Vanita Carroll. Though they are no longer here, their influence shaped the man he became.
A true lover of life’s simple pleasures, Terry found solace at the lake. It was more than just a place to relax—it was a dream realized through hard work and determination. His vision was to create a retreat where his sons and their families could gather for years to come. Whether enjoying time on the water or filling the air with music, Terry made every moment count.
Beyond his devotion to family and nature, Terry was also a proud member of the Masons. His commitment to brotherhood and service reflected the values he carried throughout his life.
