JOSHUA -- Terry Randall Baker Sr., 52, born Feb. 10, 1964, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at his home from complications of his many health problems. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth. He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst in 1982. In 1990 he received a degree in law enforcement from Dallas Baptist University. On Feb. 14, 1998, Terry married the love of his life, Janice Price. Terry was a devout member of the Open Door Church of Burleson where he and his family attended services. He was a volunteer for Open Door Food Bank in Joshua and a volunteer for the homeless shelter in Fort Worth. He received an award in 1986 from the city of North Richland Hills for saving the life of a small girl that was drowning. This was an example of the many caring things that Terry did in his life. Survivors: Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Janice; children, Terry R. Baker II and his wife, Malorie, of Azle, Shelbie Baker and Richard of Wisconsin, Dustin Baker and partner, Craig, of Hurst, Desirae Baker and Tyler of Joshua, Brittney Baker of Joshua; and grandchildren, Terry R. Baker "Trey" III and Ceelee-Rae Baker.
