Suzanne Johnston

Professionally, Suzanne was an administrative assistant for many years with the George Beggs III Cattle Company. She was also very active in the dog show arena. Her passions were many, including being a former Editor of the American Maltese Magazine, holder of several positions with the Trinity Valley All Breed Kennel Club, American Maltese Association, National Specialty in Las Vegas and Dallas, and served on the Board of Directors of the Cowtown Crested Club. She was a co-owner of the top five Chinese Crested in the US as well as co-owner of the top five Havanese in 2009 and 2010.

Survivors: sister, Sarah McBrayer and husband Allan; nieces, Allison McBrayer, Abigail Griffin and husband Jake; nephew, Wes McBrayer and wife Jessi; Daughter-in-law, Mary Israel, husband Steve and son Morgan; devoted lifelong friend, Dixie Drake, husband Ron and son Brent Anderson, wife Jacqie, as well as extended family and friends from the dog world. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Donnie Johnston; and son Ray Johnston.
