Sue Noles Benton was born October 20, 1928 in Fort Worth, TX to Dempsey & Oneta Noles and passed away December 22, 2019 in North Richland Hills, TX. She is survived by children: Cynthia Ballard, Chuck Ballard, Luke Ballard, Jeff Benton & Freddy Benton; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Sue’s father served his full career in the U.S. Army so she lived many places in her early life. After her early school years she went to some college and graduated from beauty school. She married Sidney Ballard on December 29, 1946. They had three children before his early passing. She built a home in North Richland Hills. While there she met Frank Benton and they married December 16, 1960. Sue was very active in AWCE where she served as president for one year and ran the AWCE gift shop with her best friend Marvelle Bryan. She and Frank were active in Prime Timers and loved game night until Frank was unable to attend any longer. Dedicated to her faith and her family, Sue will be greatly missed.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m., December 27, 2019 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday December 28, 2019 at College Hill Church of Christ, 7447 N. College Cir, Fort Worth, TX 76180. Graveside will take place 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2019 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
