Following her graduation from Paris High School, Sue moved to Fort Smith and worked at several companies before she settled at Western Union. While working for Western Union, she met and married C.T. Anderson on November 21, 1957, at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, where she was a faithful member. She later made a career as a bookkeeper for Blackmon Mooring Steamatic for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Glen Freeman and Norman Freeman, Jr., and sisters Betty Todd and Shelba Jordan. She is survived by daughters Linda Sue Anderson Hay and husband Phil Hay, and Patty Anderson Adams and husband Wayne Adams; grandchildren Ashley Adams Moncrief and husband Monty Moncrief; Casey Adams, Tori Hay, and Jason Hay and wife Lauren Hay; great-grandchildren Everett, Casper, Nola and Odette Moncrief, and Fitz and Austin Hay; as well as many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Dr. Mike Marshall of First United Methodist Church, Fort Worth will officiate.
