He will be remembered by his friends for his quiet manner, subtle smile and willingness to help anyone in need. His family will cherish the many memories he made special as a son, sibling, parent and most important to him, partner to his precious wife.
Steven was born March 29, 1978 in Abilene, TX to David and Mary Riley. After graduating from Abilene Cooper High School in 1996, Steven attended Angelo State University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2001. In 2005, he met the love of his life, Heather (Daniel) Riley, doing what they both loved, country and western dancing. They married in Midland in 2008, and together they raised two amazing children, Madalynn and Keeten. A hard worker, committed to giving his best every day to provide for his family, he always looked forward to leaving work and getting home to be with his wife and kids to recap the day, assist with homework or just relax and watch their favorite shows or movies. Wishing to be closer to extended family, they relocated to Burleson, TX in 2016.
Steven is survived by his wife, Heather and their children, Madalynn and Keeten; his parents, David and Mary Riley of Fate, TX; sister, Cindy Hodge and family of Caddo Mills, TX; brother Christopher Riley and family of Pflugerville, TX
A celebration of his life will be held on June 12, 2021, 2pm in the Chapel of the Chimes at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Rd, Ft. Worth, Texas 76134, with a small reception following the service.
